This traditional 4-year degree in business management provides you with a broad foundation in business and insights into the management function. You’ll study communication, economics, marketing strategy, negotiations and decision making, building skills that prepare you for future leadership roles. The B.A.S. in business management is a bachelor’s program specifically tailored to transfer students. With this option, you can build on and apply the technical and vocational skills you’ve already developed in previous courses or your associate degree, shortening the time it takes to earn your bachelor’s degree. This format also allows you to earn a flexible business management degree customized to your career goals. Courses vary based on your interests and previous credits.

You’ll practice working in teams, negotiating, resolving conflict and preparing and pitching a business plan to prepare for a wide range of business management careers.
Work in a realistic agency atmosphere in Northwest’s Knacktive course. You’ll develop a promotional campaign for an actual business, competing on teams to conduct research, analyze data, strategize and present your plans to clients. By doing so, you will gain valuable experience that will set you apart in the job market.

You’ll compete with other business management majors, high school students and community members to present a winning business idea while gaining crucial networking opportunities.
