Offering several areas of specialization – accounting, economics, finance, human resource management, marketing and management – Northwest’s program provides you with both the broad business knowledge and specific expertise you need to excel in your future business administration career.
By choosing the accounting specialization for your business administration degree, you’ll be equipped to analyze financial data, manage budgets and support sound decision-making in any organization. You’ll complete nine hours in accounting and two other specializations, selecting from economics, finance, human resource management, management or marketing. For each specialization, you’ll take two classes at the 300 level and at least one class at the 400 level or above to build advanced expertise in your areas of focus.
By choosing the economics specialization for your business management degree, you’ll develop the skills to understand market trends, analyze economic data and make strategic decisions that impact organizations and industries. You’ll complete nine hours in economics and two other specializations, selecting from accounting, finance, human resource management, management or marketing. For each specialization, you’ll take two classes at the 300 level and at least one class at the 400 level or above to grow your expertise in your areas of focus.
By choosing the finance specialization for your business major, you’ll gain the expertise to manage investments, analyze financial performance and make strategic financial decisions for organizations. You’ll complete nine hours in finance and two other specializations, selecting from accounting, economics, human resource management, management or marketing. For each specialization, you’ll take two classes at the 300 level and at least one class at the 400 level or above to deepen your knowledge and skills in your chosen areas.
By choosing the human resource management specialization for your business administration major, you’ll develop the skills to recruit talent, manage employee relations and design effective workplace policies. You’ll complete nine hours in human resource management and two other specializations, selecting from accounting, economics, finance, management or marketing. For each specialization, you’ll take two classes at the 300 level and at least one class at the 400 level or above to expand your expertise and prepare for success in your career.
By choosing the management specialization for your business management degree, you’ll develop the skills to lead teams, oversee operations and make effective strategic decisions. You’ll complete nine hours in management and two other specializations, selecting from accounting, economics, finance, human resource management or marketing. For each specialization, you’ll take two classes at the 300 level and at least one class at the 400 level or above to enhance your expertise and prepare for leadership roles.
By choosing the marketing specialization for your business administration degree, you’ll learn how to create effective campaigns, analyze consumer behavior and develop strategies to connect with target audiences. You’ll complete nine hours in marketing and two other specializations, selecting from accounting, economics, finance, human resource management or management. For each specialization, you’ll take two classes at the 300 level and at least one class at the 400 level or above to refine your skills and prepare for success in rewarding marketing roles.
